Rose Jagust serves on Avodah’s Board of Directors.
Rose is Vice President, Donor Advised Programs, at the Jewish Federation of Chicago where she heads the Center for Jewish Philanthropy. The Center serves thousands of Jewish individuals and families and holds more than 1,030 funds and foundations with assets of approximately $1.5 billion. Rose and her staff of six work closely with donors who have established these funds and foundations at the Center to help them make their philanthropy effective and meaningful. Before joining the Jewish Federation, she practiced employment law and worked in the non-profit sector, holding a variety of positions. Up until March 2020, Rose was a world traveler, biking in far flung countries such as Vietnam and South Africa, as well as hiking in New Zealand and Peru.
Rose received her undergraduate degree from Beloit College and a J.D. from Chicago Kent College of Law.
