Rose Jagust serves on the Board and the Chicago Advisory Council at Avodah.
Rose Jagust has had a successful twenty-two-year career at the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago, where she headed the Center for Jewish Philanthropy and worked closely with individuals and their families to help make their philanthropy effective and rewarding. When she left, the Center for Jewish Philanthropic had grown to hold assets of approximately $1.2 billion and held funds for more than a thousand families. Before joining the Jewish Federation, Rose practiced employment law and held a variety of positions in the non-profit sector. Over her career, she has developed deep experience in the non-profit sector as well as philanthropic advising. In retirement, she is concentrating on volunteering for several non-profits and travelling.
