We have updated our Privacy Statement to take into account the new requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), which means that if you are a resident of the EU and your donor records reflect that address, you may be entitled to certain additional protections in accordance with GDPR.
We collect personal information when you voluntarily submit it to us.
For example, donors, program applicants, or users of our resources may provide us with personal information (such as name, address, email address, telephone numbers and/or credit/debit card information, etc.). If a donor or website visitor contacts us by email, they may provide us with their email address and name. Providing certain data is required in these contexts in order for us to process your donations or to respond to your requests or inquiries. Individuals may be asked to consider providing other demographic information (e.g., race, LGBTQ+ identity, age, accommodation needs, etc.) in order to help us improve and/or personalize our programs and user experience, but we do not require this information to be provided to us.
In addition to the personal information that you submit to us, we may collect personal information about you from reputable third parties Third party partners may collect information about your use of our site in order to measure and analyze website traffic, assess the performance of our advertising campaigns, and/or show you advertisements for Avodah on third party sites.
