Rachel Glicksman is the Director of People and Culture at Avodah.
In this role, she focuses on employee needs and makes Avodah a great place to work and partners with Avodah’s peer organizations to strengthen their work for social justice. Rachel has had many roles at Avodah; she got her start with Avodah as a Corps Member in New Orleans in 2009; returned as a staff member in 2012 in New Orleans; moved back home to NYC to be the New York Program Director; and then served as the Alumni Director, before transitioning into the Director of Community Engagement in 2019 and expanding her role to include Director of Employee Experience in 2020. She is an alumna of Vassar College with a degree in Sociology and Hispanic Studies and was a 2019 UJA Federation of NY Ruskay Fellow. Rachel is an avid baker, a half-marathoner, and a devoted aunt.
