Marty Friedman serves on the Board for Avodah.
Marty Friedman is Partner and Managing Director of Meadow Lane Advisors (formerly known as DH Capital), a private investment partnership focused on Internet infrastructure, telecommunications and companies delivering “software as a service.” Marty has more than 40 years of investment and commercial banking experience, working primarily in the technology, media and communications industries. Prior to DH Capital, Marty served as a Managing Director at CIBC World Markets Corp. Marty earned his BA in American Studies from the University of Michigan. Since 1992, Marty has been on the Board of Trustees on American Jewish World Services, at various times serving as Board Chair, Vice Chair and Treasurer. He previously served as a board member and Treasurer of The Village Community School, as well as a board member of Elat Chayyim/Isabella Freedman/Hazon. Marty currently divides his time between Brooklyn and his home in the Hudson Valley and is the parent of a former member of Avodah’s Jewish Service Corps.
