Deborah Levine serves on the Washington D.C. Advisory Council at Avodah.
Deborah is a Staff Attorney at Neighborhood Legal Services Program. As a brief services attorney, Deborah works with new applicants seeking legal assistance and provides them with initial advice and services. She participated in the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Program Bankruptcy Clinic and at the D.C. Superior Court Family Court Self-Help Center. Additionally, she volunteered at The Drop-In Center for Refugees at West London Synagogue and taught financial literacy classes at Calvary Women’s Services. As a member of Johns Hopkins Children Center Council, Deborah works with parents and Johns Hopkins staff to create a patient- and family-centered experience. Deborah received her J.D. from George Washington University Law School with High Honors and her B.A. from Cornell University.
