Request for Proposals: Graphic Design Services

Location: New York City

12 Hours Per Week

Avodah seeks to retain on a non-exclusive contractual basis an experienced graphic designer/firm to provide design services for Avodah. The designer/firm will be tasked with producing high-quality, brand-consistent digital and printed materials, including brochures, swag items, and digital collateral. The designer/firm will work directly with our Communications, Development, and Recruitment teams. The designer/firm will not only make exceptional contributions to our communications and marketing efforts, but also create materials that foster engagement, learning and constructive dialogue about Avodah’s work and mission. Recruitment Assistant

Location: New York city

Description: 22 hours/week

Start Date: August 7th

The Recruitment Assistant will provide support for Avodah’s national recruitment work under the supervision of the Recruitment Manager. The work will include specific project assignments as well as day-to-day administrative assistance as needed. This individual will conduct outreach to increase name visibility and find future program participants, establish and maintain relationships with relevant contacts and institutions both within and outside of the Jewish community; conducting research to revise and build databases of academic, institutional, and organizational contacts; compile and analyze data regarding our programs; maintain records of contacts and communications in Salesforce and work closely with the Recruitment Manager to strategize improvements and additions to Avodah’s existing recruitment techniques. Director of Finance and Operations

Location: New York City

Permanent Full-Time

Avodah is currently seeking an experienced Director of Finance and Operations (DFO) to lead all finance, operations and human resource activities of Avodah.  The DFO will ensure the quality and continual improvement of Avodah’s financial, human resources and information technology systems, supported by a full-time Junior Accountant and supervising three staff members in total.  The DFO will play a broad leadership role in Avodah’s growth and development. A member of Avodah’s senior leadership team, the DFO reports to Avodah’s Executive Director (ED) and works directly with the Finance Committee of the Board.   Learn more here.
