We offer three primary programs to advance your social justice leadership. Read below to make sure you apply to the right one for you.

 Jewish Service Corps

Our Jewish Service Corps places young adults ages 21-26 into a year of full-time service at leading nonprofits in Chicago, New York, New Orleans, and Washington, DC. Corps Members live together as a community and participate in weekly educational programs to deepen their understanding of domestic poverty and explore their work through the lens of Jewish tradition. We are now accepting applications for the ’22-’23 program year on a rolling basis until our cohorts are filled for an August start. There are currently openings in all five of our program cities. Apply ASAP!

 Avodah Justice Fellowship

The Avodah Justice Fellowship convenes cohorts of early-career professionals working on social and economic issues for eight months of intensive learning, mentorship, and community-building in an inclusive Jewish framework. Our cohorts are currently full for the 2022 program year, but you can request an application below to be informed when our application cycle reopens.

 Avodah Institute for Social Change

The Avodah Institute for Social Change trains Jewish leaders from across the Jewish professional sector in social change work to transform the culture of American Jewish life. This work responds both to the timeless Jewish imperative to pursue justice and the current moment when Jewish organizations nationally have expressed a heightened concern with creating an equitable and inclusive society.
