Susan Toder has worked for many years as a management consultant, focusing on family businesses, start-ups, and nonprofits in the DC-Baltimore area. Her expertise is in organizational development, strategic planning, board building, exit planning and targeted philanthropy. Susan has also held international and executive management roles with Hewlett-Packard, General Electric, and Telecom New Zealand. She has an MBA from the University of Maryland. In her community and volunteer work, Susan has been involved in starting up a Neighbors-to-Neighbors initiative, a community-based effort to assist aging in place and Green Neighbors, a group focused on local solutions to environmental problems. She is active with the Potomac Conservancy and she has devoted considerable time to elder care issues, in addition to serving on Avodah’s DC Advisory Council.
