Sheila Pont serves on the Chicago Advisory Council for Avodah.
Sheila is a founder and current Director of Programs and Volunteers at Pro Bono Network, a local nonprofit dedicated to working with licensed attorneys to provide free legal services to those in need throughout the Chicagoland area. Prior to her time at PBN, Sheila was the Director of Victim Advocacy for Mothers Against Drunk Driving-Illinois and has served on the board of directors for Housing Forward and numerous other local nonprofits. She has a B.A. from the University of Michigan and a J.D./M.S.W. from Washington University in St. Louis. She hails from the Detroit area, but has been in Chicago for the past 30 years with her husband Eddie Pont and three grown children.
