Sarah Markowitz

Sarah Markowitz moved from California to Kansas City to work for the Jewish Community Relations Bureau | AJC, where she currently serves as the Assistant Director of Education and Programs. She earned her master’s in war and society from Chapman University, developing a thesis exploring the Jews’ reactions to pogroms perpetrated in Kovno, Lithuania in June 1941. She holds a bachelor’s in political science from Loyola Marymount University, paired with minors in Jewish Studies, International Relations, and Classics & Archaeology.
