Rose Silverman hails from Boston, MA. She attended Smith College where she facilitated conversations and actions in her campus’s Jewish communities, worked with Smith professors to enhance the inclusivity of their classrooms and studied Government and Education. After graduating from Smith in 2018, Rose moved to Chicago to join a city with a vibrant Jewish community and one passionate about young people’s civic engagement. She is entranced by Lake Michigan, the Chicago Public Library and the joy of curiosity. She is an Assistant Teacher at the Francis W. Parker School after working as a remote researcher with BallotReady, a voter engagement initiative.
