Rena Branson has served as an educator in a wide range of settings, from teaching ESL in Alaska to harvesting carrots for matzah ball soup with teens on a Jewish farm. She recently returned from a year at the Pardes Experiential Educators Program in Jerusalem, and is now a fellow at the Hadar Institute. Previously, she worked for four years as a volunteer recruiter at an understaffed after-school program in Ohio, and created a service-learning program for Oberlin College student volunteers. Rena first came to Avodah in 2014 as a Service Corps Member at Footsteps in NYC. She’s excited to return to Avodah this year as an Alumni Justice Ambassador!
