Al Otro Lado

Rachel works on the Border Rights Project for Al Otro Lado.

Rachel is a Philadelphia native and a recent graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where she studied Political Science with a concentration in International Relations. Prior to Avodah, she spent the summer volunteering at a migrant shelter on the Mexico-Guatemala border. She is passionate about community organizing, migration, and international human rights law, and is excited to work with asylum-seekers in Tijuana. Rachel is looking forward to exploring the link between Jewish values and the struggles for resistance, liberation, and abolition.
