Harry “Scott” White’s career as a Rabbi spanned 34 years, reaching its conclusion in the summer of 2019, when he stepped down after nearly a decade and half as spiritual leader of Congregation Ohev Sholom in Prairie Village. Born and raised in Kansas City, Rabbi White was graduated from Shawnee Mission East and the University of Kansas. He was ordained by the Jewish Theological Seminary of America. He and wife Civia are parents of Jacob and Benjamin. Rabbi White’s hobbies include physical fitness and making and playing music. He also enjoys following the Chiefs, Royals, Jayhawks, and especially the National Hockey League.
