Rabbi Jessica Kirschner (she/her) was ordained by Hebrew Union College- Jewish Institute of Religion in 2007. Since 2017, she has been the Executive Director of Hillel at Stanford. She graduated from UC Berkeley, where she was a student leader at Hillel and studied abroad at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. She served for seven years as a congregational rabbi in Washington DC, and as a board member of Jews United for Justice, the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice, and the Washington Interfaith Network. Upon moving back to San Francisco in 2014, she worked for the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism as a community organizer and leader of their state-wide legislative work. She and her husband live in San Carlos and have two daughters, Hannah and Maya.
