Rabbi Becky Jaye

Rabbi Becky Jaye is a part of the Avodah Institute for Social Change faculty.

Rabbi Becky Jaye (she/her/hers) serves as an adjunct rabbi for Temple Emanu-El in Westfield, New Jersey.  Raised in a biracial and interfaith home, Rabbi Jaye has committed her rabbinate to creating more inclusive spaces for Jews to gather and honor each other’s holiness, diversity, and humanity. In her endeavors to make Jewish spaces more inclusive, she has worked with the Union for Reform Judaism, Auburn Seminary, Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion, JOIN for Justice, Avodah, and Ammud: The Jews of Color Torah Academy. Most recently, she was trained as Dismantling Racism from the Inside Out facilitator, a project of IOWA.
