Naomi Orlansky has served on the New Orleans Avodah Advisory council since 2012, and as its chair since 2014. She is a native of New Orleans and has been active in the community for many years. Naomi has served on the boards of the Jewish Community Center (President, 2009-2011), Jewish Family Service, National Council of Jewish Women and the Jewish Federation. She is currently a member of the board of Touro Synagogue and serves on the Henry S. Jacobs Camp Committee. In addition, she volunteers at WRBH, Radio for the blind and visually impaired, and two JFS community programs, Lifeline and Teen Life Counts, a teen suicide prevention program.
