Naomi Adland is the Program Manager for the Shalom Hartman Institute of North America, where among other responsibilities, she works with SHI-NA’s growing array of campus programming. She is active locally, volunteering on the Limmud NY Steering Committee and co-chairing the Hazon New York Ride in 2013. Recently she joined the Avodah New York Advisory Council. A Wexner Graduate Fellow and Davidson Scholar, Naomi completed a masters program in Nonprofit Management and Policy at New York University and also became a trained facilitator with Resetting the Table. Prior to graduate school, she spent two years working as the Assistant Director of Recruitment for the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies, where she was responsible for executing Pardes’ North American recruitment activities. As a proud alumna of Brandeis University and then Avodah: the Jewish Service Corps (2008-2009), Naomi is always happy to engage in conversations about Judaism and social justice. In her free time, she can be found watching hockey, knitting increasingly complex blankets, and baking her way through the Smitten Kitchen.
