Naomi Adland is Secretary of the Board for Avodah.
She is a nonprofit consultant based in Brooklyn, New York. She previously served as Director of Program Operations for the Shalom Hartman Institute of North America, where she managed SHI’s programmatic presence across North America. A Wexner Graduate Fellow/Davidson Scholar, Naomi completed a masters program in Nonprofit Management at New York University. Prior to graduate school, she spent two years working as the Assistant Director of Recruitment for the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies, where she was responsible for executing Pardes’ North American recruitment activities. A proud alumna of Brandeis University, in her free time, she can be found walking in the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, volunteering to help elect progressive candidates for office up and down the ballot, and baking her way through the Smitten Kitchen.
