Mimi Stern serves on the Chicago Advisory Council at Avodah.
Mimi (she/her) is a data analyst and technology professional in the nonprofit sector. Her career thus far has been defined by helping organizations prioritize data-driven decision-making and strong tech infrastructure as a way to ensure sustainable social services for the communities they serve. She currently is a System Analyst at JCFS Chicago. Mimi holds a B.A. in Economics and History from Oberlin College and an M.S. in Civic Analytics from UIC, and was an Avodah Chicago Corps Member in the ’16-’17 cohort. Since moving to Chicago in 2016, Mimi has volunteered with various organizations supporting reproductive justice and ending sexual and domestic violence. In the summer she can be found on her paddleboard, and she spends the rest of the seasons planning her next outdoor adventures.
