Megan ran to New Orleans the minute she had the chance. She left her hometown of Huntsville, Alabama to attend Tulane University in 2014. She spent the past four years interning for social justice-oriented non-profits around New Orleans and leading activist groups on campus. She hopes to translate her values into a career telling people’s stories and acting as a watchdog, through the written word and film as a journalist. Megan is so excited to combine her passions of service, community and Judaism as an Avodah Corps Member.
