Malka serves as the Water Street Pantry Projects Coordinator for the Met Council on Jewish Poverty.
Malka grew up on the Lower East Side of New York. She attended Ramaz for high school, and Binghamton University for college. Malka’s favorite memories of college were being a part of the Jewish a cappella group, Kaskeset, and volunteering for Meals on Wheels! Malka is passionate about community action and decreasing food insecurity, and applied for Avodah to work with other young Jews fighting for social justice. She is excited to join the Met Council team and assist in advocating for New York’s vulnerable populations.
