Jessie Zelisko

The First 72+/Rising Foundations

Jessie Zelisko has a background in land defense and food justice, and the ways in which identity maps onto these domains. She went to Clark University in Worcester, MA where she studied International Development and and Social Change and Women’s and Gender Studies. She is dedicated to a vision of collective liberation and believes that abolishing the system of mass incarceration is central to this vision. She is honored to be contributing to the First 72+/Rising Foundations by supporting formerly incarcerated folks in the mission to help their communities come home and thrive.
