Jay P. Hirschson serves on the Board of Avodah.
He serves as Chief Financial Officer of The Blinc Group, LLC, where he leads the financial operations and corporate governance functions. Prior to joining The Blinc Group, Mr. Hirschson was CFO of StrikeAd, Inc. and before that was Director of Web Finance and Operations at Brooks Brothers Group and had been a co-founder and Chief Financial Officer at TRAFFIQ, Inc., an online media management platform delivered on a SaaS basis. In addition, he was a co-founder and Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer of iRenovate.com (f/k/a Zero-G Commerce Corp.). In addition, Jay has been a strategic consultant to a wide array of companies, ranging from start-ups to global enterprises, including Global Building Modules, Inc. and previously held positions at Miramax Films, New Line Cinema and News Corporation. Mr. Hirschson has been a Director of FRMO Corp. (OTC: FRMO) since December 26, 2006 and formerly served on the Interactive Advertising Bureau’s (IAB) Chief Financial Officer Council.
Jay graduated with a Sc.B. magna cum laude in Psychology from Brown University and later received an MBA cum laude in media finance and management from Columbia University Graduate School of Business. A born-and-bred New Yorker, Jay still lives today in Manhattan with his wife and two young, adorable, smart yet incomprehensibly LOUD children.
