Holden serves as Avodah’s National Program Operations Assistant. Holden is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Environmental Sustainability and a minor in German. While there, he focused his studies on the sociocultural aspects of climate change and urban environmentalism, discovering his passion for environmental justice and its impact on marginalized communities in cities around the globe. Holden spent six months abroad in Germany and completed a short tenure at the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality before relocating to the Big Apple in hopes of breaking into the non-profit sector and seeing all of his favorite bands and DJs perform live. He enjoys bouncing around to a nice house track, discovering new music, reading up on urban theory, and exploring nice parks in foreign cities.
