Halle (She/her)

Ashé Cultural Arts Center

Halle serves as the Institutional Memory Project Manager for Ashé Cultural Arts Center, a Black diaspora institution in New Orleans that uses art for community development. Halle is grateful for the chance to continue pursuing oral history in this role and to help preserve the core truths and narratives that make Ashé what it is. Halle graduated from Barnard College, where she majored in Anthropology with a specific focus on medicine and chronic illness. After spending nearly her whole life in New York City, she is excited to move to New Orleans as part of the Avodah community.
