Dr. Randi Abramson has provided direction and management on all aspects of the medical program at Bread for the City for over 24 years, which has been an Avodah placement site since 2003. Dr. Abramson’s son Yonah was an Avodah Service Corps Member in New York City in 2013, and her daughter Hannah participated in the first Avodah Fellowship cohort in New York City in 2014. In 2008, Dr. Abramson was awarded the DC Primary Care Associations “Caregiver of the Year” Award and she was also the recipient of the American Medical Association Excellence in Medicine Award in 2009. Dr. Abramson also serves as Assistant Clinical Professor at George Washington University Medical Center, and holds a M.D. from Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois.
