Davinica Nemtzow (She/they) has been Avodah’s Graphic Designer since 2018. She is also the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Associate at Tribe 12, a small Jewish nonprofit in Philadelphia, where she organizes community events for Jewish LGBTQIA+ young professionals, leads a workshop series on homesteading and sustainability, and ensures that her organization is welcoming and accessible. Davinica, originally from New England, moved to Philadelphia 10 years ago to study Illustration and Creative Writing at Moore College of Art & Design. The evening of her college graduation, she moved into Moishe House Philadelphia where she immediately began hosting events for Philly’s Jewish community while working as a marketing designer. In 2017, she left her marketing job to start her entrepreneurial journey as a freelance designer and community organizer. You can often find her leading Mindful Outdoor Experiences, tending to her vegetable garden, tinkering with her fermentation station, or working on Planted, an environmental art community that she founded in 2019.
