She was a Glass Leadership Institute Fellow in 2017-2018- a nationally recognized leadership development program that provides leadership skills for community advocacy through the work of the Anti Defamation League. In 2017, Andrea worked with ACLU of San Diego and Imperial Counties’ staff to form ACLU NextGen, a fundraising and advocacy network of emerging leaders in support of the ACLU. She is now Co-Chair of the NextGen Leadership Team and in its first three years has grown the network to over 500 members. Andrea attributes her commitment to civic engagement and social justice work to the values that have been passed down to her, both by her parents and through her Jewish faith. She is committed to supporting Avodah San Diego in it’s work to foster a community of social justice leaders in San Diego and beyond.
